About

I was born and raised in the city of Curitiba in southern Brazil, and moved to the United States at age 12.   I graduated from Lakota East High School and attended the University of Cincinnati (DAAP) for about a year or so. Life played its cards out and I attended Full Sail University in their Game Art program.  I graduated as Valedictorian of my class in March 2012 and I now work at Disney Junction Point Studios in Austin, Texas as an Environment Artist for "Epic Mickey 2".

I love video games, and I have had the dream of working with video games ever since my parents introduced the idea to me when I was 10 years old.  I remember vividly the moment they told me creating and working on video games is indeed a job, and immediately took some paper out and started creating my own version of a Legend of Zelda game.  A few years later I discovered the "RPG Maker 2000" program.  I found myself enthralled and created "Kenneth's Adventure" 1 and 2.

I was 6 years old and drew all the monsters from the
Super Nintendo game "Yoshi's Island"and proudly
posted them on my living room wall.

I am an artistically driven person, and have been this was my entire life.  Even at an early age I have taken likeness to drawing and expressing myself visually.  Overall I am a pretty easy going person, but definitely take my work very seriously.

Inspiration plays a huge role in my life, and I feel like in the end it really makes or breaks a project.  Without it, no matter how hard or how much work is put into anything, it will end up feeling lifeless.

To me that inspiration comes from any sources, be it visually or musically the idea is what matters; work is nothing more than following that dream.
